Mae Young Classic – Episode 4 Review

Mae Young Classic LogoMae Young Classic episode 4, the last matches of the first round and the debut of Kairi Sane. The tournament had been phenomenal so far and this episode would have to do a lot to beat the last two.

At this point you could also start to see the next rounds pan out and begin to predict some of the potential big matches to come. It was interesting to see who they positioned strongly in this final first round episode.

Mae Young Classic LogoMae Young Classic episode 3, the debut of Dakota Kai yay! Dakota was my instant favourite after seeing her in the pre-tournament show. To start with she is from New Zealand which is an awesome place in the world. But she also has a plucky attitude that kind of reminds me of NXT Bayley but with a bit more of an edge. Mainly because she could quite easily kick someone’s head off, which is always a good skill to have.

Fight Factory Wrestling - Boiling PointFight Factory Wrestling brought it’s show back to the Engine Shed in Lincoln on Sunday October 1st for Boiling Point. The event was a two show presentation, with a family show in the afternoon and an adults only show in the evening. Mae Young Classic LogoI was really excited when the WWE announced the Mae Young Classic as I am a big fan of women’s wrestling. The WWE are developing a nice habit of producing great quality programmes on the Network that are radically different from what they broadcast on their mainstream shows. I dipped into the Cruiserweight Classic and I was impressed by the talent they had amassed for that programme, and I was hoping they would be able to capture the same magic for this tournament.
