I decided for the first time to film my reactions to the two Royal Rumble matches, as well as review the entire PPV, and post them to my YouTube channel.
The WWE Royal Rumble is always one of the most entertaining PPVs of the year. It brings with it a unique anticipation that not even Wrestlemania can match.
You can never really tell who is going to appear in the Royal Rumble match. It is often a good opportunity for WWE to give someone a shock debut, much like AJ Styles in 2016. The winner of the match sometimes is very obvious and sometimes no one has a clue who they’re going to go with. This year was no exception.
For 2018 there were two Royal Rumble matches. The men’s and, for the first time ever, a women’s Royal Rumble.
My reactions to the 2018 WWE Men’s Royal Rumble. Possibly one of the the best Royal Rumble matches in recent years. WWE told some great stories during this match, creating some great Rumble moments. It was amazing to see Shinsuke Nakamura win. As you’ll see from my reaction, I was pretty pleased with the result.
My reactions to the first ever WWE Women’s Royal Rumble. A monumental moment for the women wrestling in the WWE and women’s wrestling in general. This was a celebration of the women of today and the women trailblazers of the past. Asuka was near enough certain to win. Ronda Rousey shook things up at the end. With her WWE debut kick starting the road to Wrestlemania.
Here is my overall review of the PPV in which I take a look back at the two Royal Rumble matches and the wins for Shinsuke Nakamura and Asuka. It also looks at the rest of the card with some predictions for what may be coming the future. As well as my views on the WWE debut of Ronda Rousey.
